About 6 weeks ago or so I bought the Tamron 150 – 600mm. Awesome Lens for the price! Despite the reviews indicating it was less sharp for that last 50mm, I have to say it still does a great job if you have it on the tripod shooting that distance. Chances aren’t too bad by hand with the Vibration Reduction on, but yes you’re taking a chance. It’s been doing a great job of the wildlife, some off the cuff portrait work, and recently I’ve been giving it a go on the sports shots. So far it’s been given a go on Cycling & Rowing. Buggy racing and Trail Bikes will probably be next. But who knows!
